On the first day of October, i go to SAFTI MI parade square to attand a friend Commission Parade.. The Parade last for an hour.. it start at 6pm, end at 7pm.. i still feel one hour is quite short sia... pass too fast.. haha.. Coz i love to see Military parade.. =p Although Military parade are formal and strict still i love to see parades.. i hardly have chance to see parades de know.. National Day i also only see the parade.. Military parades are the Best!! SAF all the way!! Before i go over at 5pm.. i meet my friend, Alan who just bookout from camp.. he start NS on 9/9/05.. We meet at Jurong Point KFC.. He is with his friends.. i sit there chat with him for a while and eat cheese fries.. haha.. After that he then send me off to 182 bus stand where i wait for bus.. After that he do off coz his friends from cam are waiting fof him at KFC.. there also have many people going to see this parade.. They go with their friends and family members as for me i go alone.. none of my friends is free to go with me.. sad sad.. sob sob.. =( alone leh.. alone so sian.. When reach SAFTI MI.. I go in together with many other people who too are going for the parade.. There is a shutter bus to fetch us from there.. The shutter bus reach the back of the Warriors Hall.. Commissioning cadets from the Army and Air Force are all there.. (i guess so.. seeing so many commission cadets) then we walk for quite a long distance before reaching the Parade Square.. I walk pass building of bunks (i guess so), basketball and tennis courts, swimming pool, a long corridor with ushers of SAF personel standing along the way to the Parade Square.. i also walk pass the cook house(i think so).. saw many new OCT* along the way going to see the parade too.. This parade is really good.. to me lah.. I love Military Parade mah =) *There are 258 officer cadets into the ranks of Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) officer corps.. 238 from the army and 47 from the Aif Force.. The Minister for Education, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam graced the Commission parade.. This parade marked the completion of an intensive 42 weeks of training in leadership, military history, military law, mliltary tactics and weapon handling, which also included a four-week tri-service term where officer cadets were educated on matters concerning the three services*
After the parade i go home.. i didn't go down to see my friend coz we didn't see each other before.. he sms me about his commission parade.. so i go and see.. But i know where is him in the parade square and which one is him in the squad.. he is from the air force squad.. A ADA officer upon commission..
